Mrs Faff’s Graffiti Bugs: A Fusion of Urban Art and Nature
Graffiti art is often seen as a form of urban expression that reflects the vibrancy and diversity of city life. It is a medium that has long been associated with rebellion, and activism can also be used to create something beautiful and unique. This inspired me, and I found a way to turn my photos of street graffiti into bold and colourful insects.
This post will examine my graffiti bugs and explore how I have turned raw images into art and prints.
These graffiti bugs involve manipulating the raw images of graffiti walls to create insect-like shapes. In doing so, I created a series of eye-catching and whimsical bugs that I hope are playful and engaging. The bold colours and organic forms of the insects are striking, and the result is a fusion of urban art and nature that celebrates the beauty and creativity of both worlds.
The bugs that I create are not just any ordinary insects. They are unique and original creations inspired by the world around me. I have combined real insect shapes and patterns with graffiti photos to create a series of fun and imaginative bugs.
Happy #faffing,
Mrs Faff
