How to make washable make remover pads
These are simple washable makeup remover pads are for anyone who wants a sustainable alternative to disposable cotton pads. They are super easy to make either with a sewing machine or by hand.
You will need:
Old cotton t-towel
Old fluffy towel
A little wadding
Circle template 9cm to 10cm diameter (I used a wide drinking glass)
Cut the circles of towel and tea towel. Place one of each back to back and sew around the edge leaving a hole about 2cm in length. Turn inside out and put in the wadding. Sew around the edge so the wadding will stay in place and you create a firm border. This will also help to stop the pads from fraying in the washing machine.
The one in the image above is plain but if you are feeling fancy you can add embroidery or a pipping edge.
